1953 Cooper Zephyr
Built in 1953 on an undrilled (sports cars type) mark 1 Cooper Bristol chassis, by Frederick Bryan Coleman.
Road registered RKT930, with a 2.3 litre 6 cylinder Ford Zephyr engine.
Later owned by Rosemary Seers (who would become secretary of Club Lotus) it was raced around 1955 by her and Chris Steele (who would become a well known Ford engine tuner).
Rosemary Seers did about 20 races at Goodwood in the Cooper, plus Brighton Speed Trials and other sprints & hillclimbs.

Goodwood Members Meeting
Seen here ahead of Bluebell Gibbs HRG, Rosemary Seers would come second at the 21st Members Meeting in March 1956.
BARC September Meeting
Rosemary came 9th in her first race with the Cooper, at Goodwood's BARC Members meeting in September 1955.
